historic house
Howard Hall Farm is both an historic restoration project and a vehicle for educating people in sustainable, environmentally conscious restoration techniques. The site of our learning laboratory is a 1780s stone manor in the heart of the Hudson River Valley. This Federal style home presents a number of restoration challenges specific to this region of the country. We invite you to join us in our effort to RESTORE GREEN.

New Videos!

We have been very busy over here at the farm with classes and preparing the house for the coming winter. We thought you might enjoy a visual update as to what we have been up to! Get a taste of some of the antics that we have come to enjoy from the cast of characters here at Howard Hall Farm or take a guided historical tour with Reggie & Phillip. Also, you'll get a chance to see a mortar master in action as you take a peak into what the Fall Series of classes are all about. We'd love to hear what you think, so don't be shy... leave us some feedback. Enjoy!
